A shell landed near a village clinic in Buthidaung Township on Monday evening, injuring a teacher.

A shell landed near a village clinic in Buthidaung Township on Monday evening, injuring a teacher.
Daw Nwe Oo Khin, wife of a medical staff, sustained injuries to her leg from an artillery shell that landed near the clinic in Phone Nyo Late village about 6 PM on March 25.
“The shell landed near the clinic. It hit my wife’s leg. It’s not serious.” said U Naing Naing Aung, medical team warden (2).
Daw Nwe Oo Khin is a teacher from a post primary school in Thaitapote village, Buthidaung Township.
Villagers said that shelling was from the No.551 battalion which is near Phone Nyo Late village.
There is no release from the Tatmadaw on shelling and the DMG could not reach the Tatmadaw True News Information Team.
About 20 shells landed near Phone Nyo Late village the night of the shelling until 8 PM.
