A man from Aungzeya Village, part of Arakan State's Maungdaw Township, was shot dead by the Arakan Rohingya Salvation Army (ARSA) on Wednesday evening, according to local residents.

The Arakkha Army (AA) issued a statement on December 3 saying property that was stolen before the battle for control of Buthidaung began, during the fighting in downtown Buthidaung, and after the seizure of the town has been returned to the rightful owners from various ethnic groups.

In November, the regime's airstrikes and the like killed 34 civilians, including children and the elderly, and injured 35 others. In September, the regime killed 27 civilians and injured 58 in Arakan State.

Fighting began on August 8 in Bogale and Chinkwin villages, on the border between Thandwe and Gwa. The fighting is now moving closer to Gwa Town after the AA captured Kyeintali Town.
