A Buddhist monk and two businessmen were arrested by the military in Minbya, Arakan State, at around 10 p.m. on November 11, according to locals.

Two residents including a preteen boy were wounded by an artillery strike in Kyaungtaung Village, part of Arakan State’s Mrauk-U Township, on Saturday morning.

An ethnic Mro woman from Jeitchaung Village, part of Arakan State’s Maungdaw Township, was killed in a landmine blast on Friday evening, according to local villagers.
