A new school building in Nyaung Chaung Thit village in Arakan State’s Ann Township has been closed and children are studying at an old school building under cover of umbrellas, according to the school building construction committee. 

A teacher was injured when the ceiling of the staffroom collapsed at a basic education high school in the village of Temauk, Taungup Township, on Tuesday.
