UN High Commissioner for Refugees and delegation visit Buthidaung and Maungdaw Townships
United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees Mr. Filippo Grandi and a delegation arrived at Sittwe on the afternoon of May 20 and visited Buthidaung and Maungdaw Townships.

United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees Mr. Filippo Grandi and a delegation arrived at Sittwe on the afternoon of May 20 and visited Buthidaung and Maungdaw Townships.
The delegation stopped at the UNHCR office located three miles from Maungdaw Town the night of May 20 before visiting Thiho Gone, Pan Taw Pyin and Nyaung Chaung villages to meet the Muslim community on May 21.
Then, the delegation will meet Arakan IDPs at Yan Aung Myay monastery in Buthidaung Township. They are scheduled to return to Sittwe on May 22.
The delegation will go to Muslim refugee camps in Sittwe during the trip.
