The Tatmadaw has warned officials from villagers after a convoy of prison vehicles landmines hit on Buthidaung-Maungdaw road between Thit Taw Ywar village and Light Infantry Regiment (263), villagers said.

Members of the Tatmadaw arrived at the village on the morning of 10 November at about 6 a.m. and checked village houses, said an anonymous villager.

A military troop apprehended Abbot Bhaddanta U Kawidaza from Ohe Htein village, Mrauk-U Township, the village administrator U Wai Soe Tun and motorist U Maung Tha Sein on 20 September. They were arrested on the way near Mt.Linn Mway, Mrauk-U Township.
