A junta column stationed in Saw Town, Magway Region, has reportedly been breaking into homes and stealing residents’ property, vehicles and other belongings, according to local sources.

Junta-chief-turned President Min Aung Hlaing, who became president following the 2025 election, is currently in India for his first foreign trip since taking office.

Clashes are intensifying in Indaw Township, Katha District, Sagaing Region, between junta troops and resistance forces led by the Arakan Army (AA), according to local and military sources.
